Sesame Crusted Tofu

Inspired by Hot for Food

This recipe makes a great addition to any Asian-flavored bowl or stir-fry. 

Sesame Crusted Tofu

Delicious, protein packed tofu.

Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients:
  • 1 block of extra-firm tofu
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c sesame seeeds
  • 3 tbsp tamari

Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Drain and pat dry your tofu. Then, cut your tofu into cubes.
  3. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine your bread crumb and sesame seeds. Place your tamari in a separte medium sized mixing bowl.
  4. Toss your tofu in the tamari sauce, making sure each piece is coated evently, and then toss in the bread crumb/sesame seed mix.
  5. Spray the sticks with a light coating of vegetable oil and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping half way through.
